Stress impairs our living heavily as it causes anxiety first. Then there are the phobia and depression. An array of causes can be attributable to stress. Men and women are exposed to their life differently. Therefore, the outcome of stress is different to them. Women suffer from stress and the result is evident in their physical well-being. The disease process is more pronounced. However, though men suffer the pangs of stress probably equal amount, the obvious expression is less. It is seen that rate of death is more in men than in women if they are surrounded by stress and its aftermath. One of the leading causes of stress is tension in the conjugal relationship. May it be in between husband & wife, between the parents and their child, strain relation between the family member and stress in the work place. Parental stress-Now-a- days, bitter relation in between husband and wife is very common. They give birth their child. However, forget the proper rearing up of their little member in the family. If both the parents are working, the child feels unsecured even in the home surroundings. This simply put the child in stress. Moreover, if he sees his parents are quarrelling after getting back from the office, the situation makes his feel helpless. He is drowned in a sea of sorrow. The little mind cannot decide what is wrong and what is right. This has a negative impact on his daily performance. Be it in school or playing together with friends.Marital stress-The most common cause of stress is probably the strain relation between the husband and wife. In a day of total independence, the state of mind reflects the stressed out situation of everybody. We all have heard the phrase “Marriages are made in haven”. However, we forget this divine relation and our tiny problems create havoc. We figure out the tiniest shortcomings of our spouse and make a hell out of it. And, if somebody is short tempered, the situation becomes more dreadful. We blame each other for the whole time when we stay at home trying to make opponent’s life more pathetic. Stress then begins to grow. This creates more tension. More we quarrel. More stress comes out. A vicious cycle is formed unless one of us tries to pacify other.Carrier-Our carrier has become the first priority these days. Stress in our job is one of the leading causes of the stressors. Insecurity in the office, disobedience and non-cooperation of the colleagues, uncertainty of our future, no carrier management plans are the culprits. All of us have to do a lot of works that the time provided does not suffice. All of these create tension and stress.Family life-Today’s world demands us to be separated from our near and dear ones as we often are working miles away from our home and leading a jet life. And then there is long office tour. In a micro nuclear family setting, we do not find adequate quality time to spend with our folks. We feel stressed out more quickly because of this.
